420Waldos watches have launched in time for April 20 …. and this year is the only one that the entire month of April is 4-20
With this note, we present the new 420Waldos brand watches, that are tied to the cannabis movement, something much bigger than a watch brand. This movement shows no signs of abating, and in fact is growing constantly. These days, many find relief with medicinal cannabis, and this watch brand was conceived and created support those needing this relief. With every watch sold, 420Waldos Watches will donate a percentage of the sales proceeds to organizations working to legalize cannabis at the federal level. The brand stands on 3 pillars:

• – the back story of how the 420 moniker came to be, back in 1971 with 5 Bay Area guys that were nicknamed the Waldos (hey, that’s us! 😊)
• – a new illumination system called Visible247, in development for 15 years, that enables the dials to glow for at least 10 hours if exposed to 10 minutes of “light energy” from any light source
• – the philanthropic element of donating to organizations (Drug Policy Alliance, NORML) that support the movement toward federal legalization with every watch sold

The annual 420 Holiday in which thousands of people would congregate in Golden Gate Park (and in other cities too) will be much different this year with the rules in place about no congregations, or large groups of people, and social distancing, with the virus condition we are living thru at the moment. But as some in the world of dispensaries say, every day is a 420 day, so it’s something that carries on daily. The watches are inexpensive ($150 retail) so it takes almost nothing to “join the club” and wear this symbol of the movement, while helping to push for legalization. Time Concepts worked with us to create a simple clean design that we like and that we think will appeal to a wide audience.
