A bit of Waldos culture from post high school.. A couple of Waldos lived in a house together.
Whenever they would ask the tight-fisted landlord for anything, such as a new carpet or refrigerator, she was very quick to reject it with a colorful adamant Italian-accented refusal…
“Oh no, I’ma not gonna buy”.
There was nothing you could do except imitate her later.
The phrase would be used by the Waldos in relation to any request for anything material, or to comment on stinginess anywhere. Or, for none of those situations at all; It’s just fun to blurt out a colorful adamant Italian accented declination.
