Oscuflippen ™

Norwegian sounding noise made in front of tourists, at rather large volume. Usually made by two Waldos and always conveying a consensus or some form of agreement between the two. It is followed by a mutual ‘yes’ chin nod and a delighted laugh. It is also accompanied by excitedly pointing out something far off with an index finger. It’s done at any tourist viewpoint while pointing at something and laughing, but the agreement may also be done on quiet elevators in front of strangers without the pointing. If tourists were to ask us what it means, we would pretend we don’t speak English.

San Francisco always had a lot of tourists so they were plenty of opportunities for Oscuflippen.
